Em 2015, parte da comunidade/fandom de .flow decidiu iniciar um projeto de ilustração em que qualquer pessoa podia participar. O objetivo era criar um baralho de Tarot completo, em que personagens, áreas e eventos do jogo ilustrariam a arcana maior e arcana menor. Foi sorteada uma carta a cada participante, mas estes tiveram a liberdade de escolher os temas, desde que não houvesse repetições.
In 2015, part of the .flow community & fandom decided to start an illustration project that anyone could join. The objective was to create a complete tarot deck, where characters, areas and events from the game would compose the major and minor arcana. Each participant would draw a random card, but they were free to choose the themes, as long as there was no overlap.
Estas três cartas são as minhas submissões e foram criadas entre julho e agosto de 2015. Aqui experimentei com técnicas de ilustração digital semelhante a aguarelas em papel. A primeira carta, Valete de Espadas, foi a primeira que me tinha sido sorteada, logo foi a que passei mais tempo a desenvolver. As seguintes foram sorteadas depois, quando outros participantes decidiram não participar e/ou não submeteram as suas cartas a tempo.
These three cards are my submissions and were created between July and August of 2015. In them I’ve experimented with a digital coloring reminiscent of watercolors on paper. The first card, Page of Swords, was the one I had originally drawn, hence, the one with more attention to detail. The other two were drawn at a later time, when others had unfortunately tapped out and/or decided to not participate.
